Luigi Balestra is Full Professor of Civil Law at the Department of legal sciences of the University of Bologna.
In his capacity of Lawyer, he mainly deals with corporate law, bankruptcy law, and contract and succession law. He is registered in the special Register of lawyers admitted to practice in front of the Court of Cassation.

He works in the field of civil and commercial law, mainly focusing on corporate and company law. Elena Guardigli is a PhD candidate of Civil Law at the School of Law of the University of Bologna where she graduated with honours on May 6th 2015. She collaborates with BCL since May 2015 and she mainly deals with bankruptcy proceedings, as well as contract law and family law.
